{One} My job had their open house at the Flower Mound Pumpkin Patch. We arrived and Mia immediately was unsure of the place, there were so many people there! We went over to some pumpkins to take pictures and as soon as we sat Mia down, her attitude came out, she was not having it. The pictures speak for themselves...
{Two} With the cooler weather, we have been spending more time outside and going on more walks. We took Mia to the dog park, but unfortunately there were no dogs when we got there. We ended up taking her to a pond to look at the ducks, but at that point she was ready to go. We even took Mia to a park for the first time, but she was not feeling that either. I'm starting to think this girl is not a fan of trying new things.

{Three} I am such a sucker for everything and anything pumpkin...candles, shakes, cider, blizzards, ice cream, cookies, oatmeal, etc. So when I went to Sprouts and saw their pumpkin display, I jumped on it and loaded up my cart. I also bought some pumpkin puree for some recipes I want to make, like these pumpkin cheesecake brownies and this pumpkin pie green smoothie. I even got Mia in on the action and bought her some pumpkin & apple baby food, she is like her mama and loved it!

Before we headed out I made Mikol some chocolate chip Kodiak Cakes pancakes for his birthday. We saw these pancakes on Shark Tank and I wanted to try them, so when I came across them in Target I hopped on the chance. They were delicious and full of protein (up to 21 grams depending on how you prepare them). I'm glad we had them on board, since we did not eat again until almost 3 pm when we were done shopping.
{Five} We went to the Arboretum to check out the pumpkin village. On Mondays and Tuesdays during Autumn at the Arboretum they have a petting zoo, face painting and Kindermusik. The petting zoo had a donkey, some goats, chickens, and a rabbit. Mia enjoyed watching the animals and touched the donkey! I quickly sanitized her hands after, but I would say that was a big step for the both of us, HA!
There were a lot of children at the arboretum on field trips, so the pumpkin village was packed, but the rest of the arboretum was fairly empty. We were able to have a nice picnic with an awesome (unobstructed) view of the lake. The arboretum was in full bloom with beautiful mums all over.
We have tickets for the 12 Days of Christmas at the Arboretum, they were already getting the gazebos set up...I can't wait!
Happy Fall! I hope everyone else is enjoying their Fall so far, hopefully the cooler weather will make up its mind and stick around.
