This past Sunday, we celebrated Mike's first Father's Day. It was awesome to get to celebrate Mia's daddy (aka my husband). She may be a mama's girl right now (since I have the milk), but I just know she is going to be a daddy's girl by the way she plays/interacts with him.

I worked the night before Father's day, so I brought breakfast home for us. After eating and a few hours of sleep, we gave Mike his gifts. We got him a shaver, some Sanuk shoes, a Batman switchblade, and some shittens!
 |
| Mike loved his first pair of Sanuks he bought so much that he wore them out, so we bought him a new pair. |
 |
| When I saw these I had to buy them, HA! They are mitt-shaped wipes to protect your hand from poo! This is right up my alley of things I find hilarious. I am sure as a new daddy, Mike will appreciate these. You can get some for yourself here! |
 |
| A batman switchblade is a must-have for every father, right? |
Afterwards we met up with my dad and family to go bowling at Bowl and Barrel near North Park Mall.

After we left the bowling alley, we walked over to a yummy pizza place with everyone. Before we went home, we went to go check out the Urban Reserve. Mike had read about this place online, a neighborhood with modern homes and wanted to go check it out. Mike has always been extremely interested in sustainable, modern homes and just so happened to come across this place online. This place was amazing! I felt like I had left the metroplex. If you are interested in sustainable housing with a modern look, you should check this place out. Here is one of the houses there:

We had an awesome Father's day and I am glad I got to spend the day with most of the dads in my life. A special shout out to my step-dad, Jacob, who I did not get to see yesterday!
p.s. Here are some pictures from my sister's graduation last weekend - It is dads and grads season!

| My baby sister graduated from Cosmetology school! |
The first day my newly graduated sister had off from school, I called her over to watch Mia, since I was sick! Had to put her to work! HA! They had a good time...
