15-month update

Here is what Mia has been up to these days...

Her 15-month stats: 

Favorite Foods
Hummus
Guacamole
Waffles
Grapes
Spaghetti
Chicken
Apples

Favorite activities

• Listening to and dancing to music
• Being outside
• Reading books
• "Helping" with the laundry/dishes/cleaning
• Petting/hugging the dogs

Not so favorite things

• Being in her car seat
• The dark
• The vacuum/blender/juicer
• The washing machine (watching it spin)
• The swings at the park

Milestones

• She has 8 teeth total (4 on the top and 4 on the bottom)
• She is a walking machine (she thinks it's funny to walk backwards/sideways)
• She has started to run (or at least walk much faster when we chase her)
• She pretends to "talk on the phone"
• She finally drinks from a sippy cup regularly (starting around 13 months)
• She climbs on everything
• She calls all animals "dogs"
• She puts our shoes on (the first time she did this she thought it was hilarious!)
• She points
• She says "danku" for thank you (she says 7 words total)
• She blows her own nose (on just about anything...blankets, sheets, clothes, etc.)
• She can show you where her nose is
• She signs milk, eat, more and done

Personality

Mia is a typical toddler. She is always on the go and into everything! As soon as she wakes up, she is ready to hit the ground running. We have had to baby proof a lot more. She stills loves outside and the dogs are her best friends. Mia is silly and is always cracking us and herself up. She wants to imitate everything we do and is always looking for ways to help us around the house. She also likes to test her limits with us (see high chair picture below) and throws tantrums when things do not go her way (like I said a typical toddler, HA!).
