Just breathe, Mama bird: 18-month update

I cannot believe Mia is 1.5 years old...she will be 2 before we know it!

Here is what Mia has been up to these days...

Her 18-month stats:

Favorite Foods
Hummus with cucumbers/pretzels
Chips and guacamole

Chicken (especially Chick-Fil-A grilled nuggets, we use a copycat recipe found here, we just use tenders instead of breasts)

Milestones

She has 12 teeth total (with 4 molars)
She calls both of our dogs by their names "Grace," and "Yodee" = Yogi
She will wake up in the morning and the first thing she says is "Hi Grace!"
She knows 2 phrases ("what's that" and "whadiyasay" = what did you say)
She knows 27 words total (hi, bye, mama, dada, thank you, dog, shoes, yes, no, up, duck, Grace, Yogi, nose, head, ears, mouth, eyes, toes, baby, milk, done, airplane, uh oh, ball, bubbles, and wah-wah = water)
She can show you where her nose, head, mouth, ears, eyes, fingers and toes are

Personality

Mia's vocabulary has exploded in the past month or so, she talks. all. the. time! She has also become more adventurous with exploring and climbing on everything. We find more stuff to baby-proof all the time. She has the cutest smile, especially when she crunches up her nose. She gives a big, exaggerated smile when you tell her to "say cheese." She goes around asking "what's that" to everything and has become quite the parrot. She is a bundle of energy and is such a funny little lady.
