Just breathe, Mama bird: 10-month update

Mia is 10 months old!

Here is what Mia has been up to these days...

Her 10-month stats: No doctor visit until she is 1 (how is that possible?)

Eating

Mia is breastfed and is still nursing.

Sleeping

She still wakes up to eat about 1-2 times at night, but for the most part she is sleeping from 11 pm - 9 am (Mia and I are night owls).

Chasing the dogs around to pet them
Exploring the house and getting into everything

Not so favorite things

The car seat
The mirror over her car seat (we took this down and she has been better in the car, who knew!)

Milestones this month

She has 2 new teeth on the top
She dances along with music (or her gangster Santa)
She is getting more confident with standing alone
She is taking steps with the help of her walking toy
She says "Dag" for the dogs
She says mama and dada correctly
She gives us kisses (and kisses herself in the mirror)
She throws her head back to laugh...she cracks herself up

Personality

Mia is quite a character. She is a very funny girl who loves to laugh. She will act like she is handing us a toy, then she will pull it away and laugh! She has become very fond of dancing to music this month. Whenever music comes on, she will stop what she is doing and start dancing. We bought a Santa from At Home (Garden Ridge) that raps and she LOVES him, HA! She has also become very cuddly lately. She wants to give hugs and kisses. She even kisses her reflection in the mirror. Sigh, how did we get so lucky with this little lady.
