Mia's first Thanksgiving

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! Mia thoroughly enjoyed her first Thanksgiving. She started by taste testing the sweet potato casserole on Wednesday when I was making it, HA!

On Thursday, we headed out to my Aunt/Uncle's house to have Thanksgiving lunch with my mom, step-dad, siblings, cousins and nieces. Mia was in awe of her baby cousin (our 2 month old niece) and kept wanting to see and touch her.

Mia LOVED all the food. She ate turkey, sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes, and cranberry sauce. She is sometimes unsure about my older brother, but they were BFFs on Thanksgiving, since he kept giving her sweet potatoes.

After stuffing our bellies, we headed to the neighborhood pond and my Uncle took some amazing photos of our family. Mia did surprisingly well, she was having a blast taking pictures. We are going to use these pictures for our Christmas card, so we are so glad that Mia was happy for them!

This was a "test shot" that was way too funny not to share!

After taking pictures, we headed to Mike's parents house for Thanksgiving dinner. They served Lebanese food, so Mia got to try hummus, and she enjoyed that as well. At this point, the fact that Mia had skipped BOTH of her naps was starting to become very apparent. She was deliriously exhausted. She only wanted to held by me and was very fussy, so we ended up heading home. Mia got a second wind when we got home and did not go to sleep until 10:30 pm (with NO NAPS all day!). She ended up sleeping until noon the next day!

The tired is setting in
Followed by the delirious exhaustion

We put the Christmas tree up this week. I cannot wait for all the festivities we have planned for Mia, such an exciting time! Happy December!
