Mia's Christmas Wish List

With Christmas around the corner, I thought it would be fun to create a Christmas wish list for Mia. Our house is small, so I really put some thought into this list to make sure each toy is worth it's valuable real estate space, HA!

Mike and I talked about what kind of gift giving we want to start with Mia and we decided on the following popular gift guidelines:

  • Something they want
  • Something they need
  • Something to read
  • Something to wear

At this point, we are having to guess what she actually wants, but this list is my best shot at that. As for what she needs, we are giving her a new sippy cup and toothbrush...I know, I know we are pretty wild and crazy over here! We got her several different books to read. As well as some cute, new pajamas for her to wear.

{One} Mia's big gift from us will be a B. Zany Zoo Wooden Activity Cube. We went back and forth about what we should get her and decided on this. The other options we considered were a wagon, a swing for outside, or a 4-in-1 tricycle.

We thought the wagon and tricycle would take up too much space (that we do not have), so we went for the activity cube. Mia's blocks are made by this same company and we love them, so we went with them for the activity cube.

{Two} Mia loves to eat her books, so I was thrilled when I found these indestructible books. They are advertised as 100% baby proof, non-toxic, and capable of being washed in a dishwasher/washing machine. So this might be a bath time book option as well.

{Three} Finding good bath toys has been difficult. Most of the toys have a hole on the bottom that water gets into and gets moldy, gross! So I really like these Boon foam bath toys, since they do not absorb water. They are also BPA, phthalate, and PVC free, which is important, since she chews on everything.

{Four} I've mentioned before how much Mia loves music, so we really wanted to help foster that and find a good set of musical instruments. We really like this B. parum pum pum drum set. It is an extremely cute drum set with maracas, bells, tambourine, and 2 shaker eggs. We probably seem like we work for B. but we just really like their toys!

{Five} The last toy on her wish list is a classic, a shape sorter. She has been taking stuff in and out of her toy box, so I thought she would like trying her luck with sorting shapes. I love that this particular shape sorter is made from recycled plastic and is also  BPA, phthalate, and PVC free.

Do you guys have any suggestions for gift ideas for a 10 month old? I feel like I am running out of ideas when people ask what Mia wants for Christmas. Plus Mia has a birthday coming up very soon! What toys did your children love at this age?

Happy shopping and a very Merry Christmas to everyone!
